Jaws (1975)
I finally saw it in full two years ago. It was good. I’ve never really found the idea of sharks in the water scary, because I mean just stay away from shark infested waters right? So what I did like more was the first half where it was more of town drama; the town is trying to figure out what to do, fearing the news of sharks would affect the local economy that is dependent on summer vacationers.
The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996)
A month ago we did a second chance love theme where the characters usually at a later age have a second chance at love. This movie is a little different, these are middle age nerdy characters who never found love when they were younger and finally do find their person now. It’s sweet and funny; I really enjoyed it.
Hearts in Atlantis (2001)
I’ve picked this before. It’s about an older man who reflects on a particular summer of his childhood with his friends when an elderly man with mysterious skills enter their lives. Several of Stephen Kings adaptations are about nostalgic trips down childhood memories, this is similarly so and I enjoyed this more than others like IT and Stand By Me.

DeleteI love that you chose Jaws! I didn’t think of that movie but it’s perfect and I love this movie even with the broken shark. I have yet to see the other 2 films but maybe...one day.
